Giovann Battista Pergolesi, San Guglielmo d´Aquitania Born in Buenos Aires, Lisandro Abadie graduated in singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Evelyn Tubb and at the Musikhochschule Luzern with Peter Brechbühler. His recordings include a.o. Marais’ Sémélé with Hervé Niquet, Hayes’ The Passions with Anthony Rooley, Il pastor fido with David Bates, Camilla de Rossi´s Santa Beatrice d’Este with Daniela Dolci. 2010 Lisandro created the title role of Cachafaz, an opera by Oscar Strasnoy on a play by Copi and the stage direction of Benjamin Lazar, which has toured in France (Quimper, Rennes, Paris Opéra Comique). A reprise of this opera is planned in Paris for 2013. Among his future projects a Messiah tour (London, Barcelona, Utrecht and Paris) with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment conducted by Laurence Cunnings, concerts with Les Folies Françoises (Lully & Marais in Bilbao), with Les Arts Florissants (Monteverdi´s Madrigals under the conduction of Paul Agnew) and Beethoven´s Missa Solemnis with the Capella Cracoviensis.
